Race History

In 2011 two hard working, enthusiastic, community oriented women set out on an adventure of living their dreams as entrepreneurs and giving back to their city.   As fitness enthusiasts and with fitness backgrounds, together, they started inStride Event Management.  In that same year, on April 28, 2011 the Manotick Road Race was born.

The event started with 250 people and has grown to 1500 participants in the last 6 years. The beautiful and scenic country side of the Manotick village makes for an amazing run.  In 2013, the Manotick Road Race hosted a 10K, 5K and 2K. In 2014 it was rebranded to become the Manotick Miler which now hosts a 10 Miler, 5 Miler, 3 Miler and 1 Miler Family run.

The Hairy Audacious Goal for the Manotick Miler is to reach 5,000 runners in the next 5 years and make it a Festival Weekend!  We hope you can help us be a part of history.
